Domicile Certificate

Domicile Certificate is an essential document which proves that a person is an inhabitant or a permanent resident of the city. As per law, this certificate can be obtained from one city only. You may require domicile certificate for a job or for seeking admission in the university.

In order to obtain a domicile certificate from ICT Administration, visit the Citizen Facilitation Center, Islamabad. Here is the step-by-step process:

• • Complete your documents as mentioned in the below section
  • Visit the nearest Citizen Facilitation Center, as mentioned in information box to submit your application along with documents
  • Get a token and wait for your turn
  • Data entry and Picture
  • Obtain receipt after paying necessary fee that is mentioned in the information box
  • Collect your Domicile Certificate on the date mentioned on the receipt

Documents Required

• Copy of CNIC / Smart Card of the Applicant (Must be 01-year old)
• NOC from the concerned district in case of dual address on the CNIC / Smart card
• Copy of Proof of Residence in Islamabad, at least one year old (Allotment letter, Fard / Registry, UC certificate, Church Certificate or Lease Agreement with owner’s CNIC Copy)
• One Utility Bill (Electricity or Gas) of the attached residential proof
• In case of cancellation of a domicile from another district, the applicant shall be eligible to apply for the ICT Domicile after 01-year from the date of cancellation.

Note: Applicant must appear in person along with original documents.
