Muhammad Awaid Irshad Bhatti is currently serving as the Assistant Commissioner of Industrial Area Islamabad whereby he is the overall in charge of the administrative affairs of the sub division. His duties include adjudication of civil and criminal matters as sub divisional Magistrate, the maintenance of public peace and law and order, price control, food hygiene, disaster management, environmental sustainability actions, land revenue related matters. Alongside, he has served as administrator of various housing societies and on additional charge as Deputy Director (Food), ICT and Secretary, Islamabad Transport Authority.

Awaid is a graduate of Cambridge University England with a Masters degree in Development Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Economics from Utrecht University. Alongside, he was the first position holder in the country in Civil Service Examination and the Presidential Gold Medalist of Civil Service Academy in his batch. Previously, he has been serving as Assistant Commissioner in Balochistan province.
