City Islamabad App

City Islamabad App is the official mobile phone app of the ICT Administration. The mobile app has been developed by the National Information Technology Board keeping in view the latest technology trends in service delivery. The smartphone app provides more than 40+ services for various departments. The app can be downloaded from the Android Play Store or Apple App Store. Notably, as of now, the mobile app has been downloaded more than 100,000+ times at various latest mobiles.

The ICTA Volunteers Task Force is envisioned to be a volunteer community service program open to the residents of Islamabad with an aim to raise awareness of the importance of community service besides enabling the District Administration to utilise the skills offered by volunteers.

Registration of NGO / NPO

Procedure for registration of Societies / NGOs / NPOs under Societies Registration Act, 1860 and Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies, 1961 is as under:-

Registration of NGO under Societies Registration Act, 1860

Step-by-Step Process:

  • The proposed society should have minimum 20 members including at least 07 office bearers
  • Complete your documents as mentioned in the below section
  • Prepare two copies of Memorandum of Association as well as Article of Association of the Society
  • Memorandum of Association should be signed by all the members of the society
  • Every page of the Article of Association should be signed by at least three Office Bearers
  • Prepare the Minutes of the 1st meeting of the members of the society
  • Office of the NGO shall be in Commercial Area.
  • Registration fee of Rs. 500/- should be deposited in National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) through a challan Form under the head of Account C-03818-Other receipt fee for Registration of Societies under Societies Registration Act, 1860 (138).
  • Annual Progress / Audit Reports, details of projects / services, bank accounts and list of office bearers / executive body members along with contact numbers must be provided to Register Joint Stock Companies every year so as to avoid legal proceedings.

Documents Required:

  • Two signed copies of the Memorandum of Association
  • Two signed copies of the Article of Association
  • Two copies of the CNIC (attested by a Gazetted Officer) of all the Office Bearers / Executive Members and General Body Members
  • Duly signed list of Office Bearers with mobile number (two copies)
  • List of General Body members (at least twenty including office bearers)
  • Two copes of the Minutes of the 1st Meeting of the Members of the Society
  • Complete office address, Office pad, website, telephone, fax number, email address and lease agreement / ownership proof of the office be provided
  • Mobile numbers and email addresses of all the Office Bearers / Executive Members

Registration of NGO under Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration & Control) Ordinance, 1961

Step-by-Step Process:

  • The proposed society should have minimum 20 members including at least 07 office bearers
  • Complete your documents as mentioned in the below section
  • Prepare and sign the Form B and Constitution of the NGO
  • Every page of the constitution should be signed by at least three Office Bearers
  • Prepare the Minutes of the 1st meeting of the members of the society
  • Office of the NGO shall be in Commercial Area
  • Registration fee of Rs. 500/- should be deposited in National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) through a challan Form under the head of Account C-03818-Other receipt fee for Registration of Societies under Societies Registration Act, 1860 (138)

Vehicle Transfer

To transfer ownership of a vehicle, already registered with Excise and Taxation, Islamabad, you are required to follow the below-mentioned procedure.

Notably, ICT Administration has also started a mobile registration service. The service can be availed through the official mobile app i.e. City Islamabad App. The Smartphone app offers number of mobile services to the users including token tax payment. You can also request for mobile registration through our dedicated helpline.

Step-by-Step Process

Following are the steps to be followed for transfer of vehicle:

  • Complete your documents as mentioned in the below section.
  • Deposit the required fee at the designated window of Excise & Taxation Department, Islamabad
  • Get your documents verified from the designated Excise Inspector
  • Obtain the receipt from the relevant Data Entry Operator

Documents Required

Following documents are required along with the application:

  • Application for transfer of ownership address to Motor Registration Authority (MRA) / Excise & Taxation Officer (ETO), Islamabad
  • Photocopy of CNIC of the Applicant
  • Filled and signed Form ‘F’
  • Photocopy of NIC of the Seller
  • Computerized Transfer Letter
  • Transfer of Ownership Form
  • (If the registered vehicle’s owner does not appear in person, documents at serial No. 4,5 & 6 should be attested by Class-I officer. It is also mandatory to present the photocopy of CNIC and official phone number of the attesting officer)
  • In case of a vehicle leased from a bank or a leasing company, NOC / Transfer Letter is required from relevant bank or leasing company
  • An affidavit to the effect that the vehicle is neither stolen nor required in any other case and that the applicant would be himself responsible for any discrepancy pointed afterward

In case of a vehicle registered in any other district, following additional documents would be required:

  • Proof of residence in Islamabad (Electric / Sui-Gas / Telephone bill, CNIC, Lease Agreement, Driving License, Registered deed of Property, and Allotment Letter / Office Card (in case of government servant) or Appointment Letter will be acceptable as a residential proof)
  • In case an applicant does not have his personal proof of residence and resides with someone else, such latter person must appear in person and submit an affidavit to the effect that the applicant resides with him
  • Photocopy of Registration Book
  • Photocopy of complete vehicle registration file
  • Orignal file, if the same has been returned by the relevant Excise & Taxation Department
  • NOC (No Objection Certificate) for the transfer of ownership from the relevant Excise & Taxation Department

Note

  • Advance Tax will be applicable on those vehicles, which have less than five (05) years resgisteration time period, starting from first registration date in Pakistan.
  • 10% desprication per year will be apply on Advance tax.

    Islamabad Sports Board

    Islamabad Sports Board aims at the promotion of sports activities in Islamabad in coordination with all other sports organizations.

    Objectives & Functions

    • To organize, promote and develop sports, game and physical education in accordance with the policy of the Government
    • To ensure mass participation in sports, games and physical education
    • To arrange as per availability of funds, coaching and training programs
    • To register Associations of Sports, hold their elections under supervision of the Board in the ICT.
    • To promote formation and efficient functioning of the Associations of Sports in the ICT
    • To issue guidelines to the Associations to frame their bye-laws
    • To maintain continuous liaison and coordination with Pakistan Sports Board, Provincial Sports Board, Federations and Associations working in Pakistan
    • To encourage and promote sports up to club level
    • To organize annual youth competitions of various sports, games etc in ICT
    • To organize Inter-Provincial, Inter-district, Intra-district, local/club based tournaments
    • To collaborate Pakistan Sports Board, National Sports Federations and Associations in holding National Sports events
    • To maintain liaison with Federal Government, Provincial Governments and their respective Education Boards, Departments, Federations, Associations, Organizations and institutions to promote sports, games and physical education in ICT and implement policy of Government thereof
